Cement Australia has the perfect opportunity for you to join our Darra Head Office Team on a 12-month maximum term contract in the role of People Data and Systems Consultant to cover a period of maternity leave (as is the nature of maternity leave coverage this period may be reduced or extended depending on the incumbent).In this role you will work closely with the internal People and Capability team, Payroll specialists, IT, People Development Coordinators, employees and leaders and our external vendors/system providers. Working across a variety of different platforms, you will provide pivotal HR data entry and management, ensure compliance, governance and process improvement, reporting and analytics.This role would suit a dynamic and accuracy driven HR data administrator with an eye for detail and system optimization.About the role:Based at our Head Office in Darra, day to day functions of the role include:· Process new starters, terminations, employment changes, and manage the business organisational structure in SAP· Upload training documents into the training platform (SABA)· Set up online training as requested and approved by stakeholders· Manage the central HR Support and Training inbox and act as the first point of contact for all HR systems, processes and master data queries· Support the organisations understanding and use of the people systems and processes through communication, education, and training activities· Manage system queries and respond to requests in relation to problem solving and technical faults of people systems· Critically evaluate all People Data processes and provide recommendations where appropriate to support in continuous improvement with a customer centric lens· Continuously learn about the systems used, developing strong relationships with IT, Finance and other specialists to ensure maximum use of available data and platforms· Support the automation of processes for data entry, updates and reporting· Provide people master data reporting support to the HR team and business as required· Supporting broader team as required with assistance on dashboard design and configuration, data integration projects, and automated report designPerks of this role:· Join Australia’s largest and most respected integrated cement manufacturer and distributor· Benefits that include novated leasing, product discounts, EAP program and parental leave· Free onsite parking and located next to Darra train station· Engaged, collaborative and diverse team· Competitive remunerationAbout you:· A driven self-starter with strong initiative· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills· Solid knowledge and understanding of HR and IT systems· High attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through data to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions· Ability to build effective relationships with and influence leaders who are typically remote (based in a different location)· Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems and Payroll systems (SAP strongly preferred)· Experience with HR data extraction, analysis and reporting· Demonstrated experience in supporting end users to resolve queries· Previous experience facilitating system and process training to employees· Desirable – some exposure to broader Human Resources or payroll processesAbout us:An icon of the Australian cement industry, Cement Australia is the nation’s leading supplier of cementitious products and services.
