About the Role:

You will provide a range of human resource and general office administration support to the General Manager, HR team and broader Head Office administration team.  This position will be the face of Maritime Constructions Head Office and assist with the upkeep of the facility It includes the following responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and responsive Return-to-Work services 
  • Provide all-round administration support predominantly to HR, but also Finance and the General Manager
  • Assist in the upkeep of the Head Office facility
  • Play a key role in the support of the HR team on the employee life cycle and recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Be the face and first point of contact to internal and external visitors 
  • Develop and maintain an active training matrix, keeping employee development a key priority

About you:

As a first point of contact, you need to have professional presence and a sense of pride in the business you’re representing. You enjoy diversity but know where and when to focus your attention on tasks. Essential Skills/Qualification:

  • Excellent computer literacy with the ability to pick up systems quickly
  • A current driver license
  • Qualification in HR related discipline advantageous but not essential
  • Return to Work Coordinator training desirable but not essential. Training will be provided to the successful candidate if necessary
