About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join our People Operations Team as a Delivery Consultant. In this role you will support the Executive People Shared Services in executing their responsibilities across a broad range of operational and strategic functions. You will ensure smooth delivery of day-to-day People operations and projects including working with other Delivery Consultants across the division.

The successful incumbent will bring strong organisational skills including the ability to work independently and be comfortable working in a continuously changing and ambiguous business environment. A passion for solving challenges through researching the facts, analysis and provide initial recommendations for both outcomes and implementation will be critical.

As a Delivery Consultant you will often be the first point of contact for, the champion of and authority on the business happening within your Sub-Domain. You’ll also need to be able to draw information out of people, get deep into data and be able to present it cleanly and simply to an executive level audience.

Key responsibilities are to:

  • Develop operating rhythm, aligned to the broader P&C deliverables.
  • Agenda, minutes, actions for the People Shared Services LT.
  • Act as the key business management conduit between People Shared Services and the OGEPC
  • Prepare regular communications & Board papers and submissions as per Executive People Shared Services’ instructions.
  • Prepare regular weekly planning sessions with the Executive People Shared Services to co-ordinate and navigate delivery of regular or ad-hoc updates (incl. via email), presentations, reports or initiatives.
  • Participate in regular forums as a way to provide/share information relating to People Shared Services risk, projects or finances.
  • Take ownership in facilitating the People Shared Services engagement action plan with the Leadership Team.
  • Work closely with the wider People Shared Services function to ensure 90 day plans, Colleague Strategy updates, Risk and other P&C key reporting rhythm is in place.

What you'll bring  

  • 5+ years in a governance/enablement role
  • Coordination/facilitation and navigation of key business management activities such as monthly/quarterly executive reporting.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Supporting communication and engagement activities
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, juggling multiple activities and delivering to deadlines
  • Ability to understand & analyse complex information across multiple businesses and topics
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to interact, challenge and influence effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively, influence stakeholders across multiple layers of the organisation and build relationships across NAB
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and good application of other Microsoft Office Packages
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong project management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualified in a Business degree preferably with post graduate qualifications
