Our client is seeking an experienced People & Performance Advisor to join their team for a 4 month contact, 40 hour week, Monday - Friday.
Reporting to the Senior People & Performance Business Partner, The People & Performance Advisor is responsible for providing quality coaching and support to Senior Leaders on all elements of the employee life cycle including, employee relations matters and investigations, interpretation and application of EA’s and legislation, job design and classifications, performance review cycle & systems, change management & restructures. This is a hands-on role, where building stakeholder relationships will be critical to success and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to broaden their skills and knowledge in a Corporate and Operational environment.
Key duties
- Provide support to Leaders for all performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures & conduct investigations as required.
- EA /legislation interpretation and advice to Leaders.
- Conduct reviews/analysis of structure and update JDF changes
- Prepare business case and relevant documents to support changes
- Support in the execution of process with impacted employees, including redundancy
- Support leaders with conducting EOY conversations and use of system (Oracle)
- Review JDF’s, update for various process and provide advice on classifications in accordance with EA’s
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (or an equivalent field), or equivalent experience in a HR Advisor role.
- Experience in the management of Employee Relations matters
- Experience in interpretating Enterprise Agreements, Policy and Legislation and providing advice to senior stakeholders to resolve HR Matters
- Experience with Change Management, developing business case for change and managing HR outcomes.
- Experience with using HRIS, i.e. Oracle, Success Factors (desirable)
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate with customers at all levels.
- Well-developed organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding workload in a busy work environment.
- Proven record of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
