The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queen's Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australia's newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.
The Project Consultant, reporting to the Senior Project Lead, offers a unique opportunity to execute delivery of people project outcomes aligned with business requirements as part of the pre-opening team for The Star Brisbane.
A few of your responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and contribute to key people readiness projects including Learning & Development, Workforce Planning and People Systems
• Assist with the scoping of work for the people readiness project stream and identify opportunities for process improvements to achieve greater efficiencies
• Support with embedment of project governance and people readiness reporting
• Assist in the development of team member engagement initiatives including key communication forums,

What we will be looking for

• Tertiary qualification in HR or related field with experience working as a HR Generalist with exposure to People Projects and delivery or in a similar project role
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects or pieces of work simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and problem-solving skills.

As Project Consultant, you will work closely with the broader People & Performance team, senior leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of People projects.
