An opportunity has come up for an experienced People and Culture generalist to join our team on a party-time basis (2, 3 or 4 days a week will be considered).
What you’ll do
As a People Success Partner you will build and maintain a positive and engaging workplace that enables Moshers to thrive and achieve their full potential. On a day to day basis you will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to both employees and managers, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction, performance, and development.
- Develop and execute strategies in collaboration with managers and leaders to promote employee engagement. Includes monitoring and measuring employee satisfaction levels and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Support recruitment efforts by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions, act as a recruiter and participate in candidate evaluation and selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to design and deliver an exceptional on/offboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel valued, informed, and supported during their transition.
- Partner with managers to establish clear performance expectations, provide guidance on performance management processes, and assist in addressing performance-related issues.
- Partner with managers and employees to identify growth opportunities, facilitate training and development programs, and promote a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
- Manage the cultural, technological and relational interactions of employees to maintain engagement with the organisation. Includes auditing and ordering the weekly food shop, organising meeting rooms and troubleshooting tech issues with IT support.
- Manage the physical workplace environment, office administration and facilities to the highest standards. Includes maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, raising work orders with building management, liaising with managed service providers and collecting mail.
- Develop and implement initiatives that promote and support employee well-being (physical, mental, and emotional) and belonging (DEI).
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Includes keeping up with changes and proactively recommending updates.
- Oversee the health and wellbeing management plan to maintain safe work practices. Duties include but are not limited to planning/executing wellness initiatives, organising first aid and fire warden training and conducting worksafe training.
- Support the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages.
Experience you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who loves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, is proactive and achievement orientated. You will understand people and how to get positive outcomes, be an excellent communicator and effective coach and mentor. The ideal candidate will also have:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar role, with a focus on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Knowledge of AgileHR practices and ways of working
- Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems
