About the role:
Water Corporation is looking for two experienced Systems Advisors to join our People Systems team, supporting a project to implement a new Time and Award system. Reporting to the People Systems Lead, you will use your technical expertise to analyse current systems and processes, and work to upgrade our current system to a new award interpretation platform.
Both roles are fixed term (12 - 24 months) and are based in our Leederville head office, with hybrid and flexible work options available.
Key responsibilities of this role:
· Champion data integrity: Manage the controls, systems and processes to ensure high standards of data accuracy. You’ll need exceptional attention to detail to ensure that our processes and practices accurately reflect all the required legislative and corporation requirements.
· Empower end users: Utilise your specialist knowledge to provide support to address end-user queries and issues, and act as a trusted resource for accurate information and problem-solving guidance.
· Collaborate cross functionally: Contribute to the success of the project by actively engaging in reviews, developing documentation and testing activities. Work closely with other business teams to drive the project towards timely and successful outcomes.
· Advocate for continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimise the system and partner with IT Support to implement data-driven application changes. Champion a culture of innovation by proactively bringing insights and suggestions to the table.
Key skills and experience:
· Strong project management skills, including the ability to effectively partner with other business areas in planning and executing assigned tasks successfully
· Business analysis and stakeholder engagement – understand business objectives and translate them into system requirements
· Expertise in data analysis in order to interpret data and derive actionable insights
· Ideally, experience in HR/Payroll business systems applications, particularly SuccessFactors, SAP and/or PowerBI
· An understanding of award interpretation and payroll would be highly regarded and a significant advantage for this project
