About this Role
We are seeking a permanent full-time People, Talent & Culture Officer to join our friendly team. Reporting to the PTC Manager, this role will suit a HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop in the people advisory space.
- Support the PTC team on a range of HR matters, including recruitment, employee engagement and other administrative duties.
- Generate employment contracts and variations of employment including transitions from casual to permanency.
- Undertake regular compliance checks including NDIS WSC, visas, drivers’ licenses.
- Manage the PTC inbox and events calendar, triaging and responding/escalating queries as required
- Distribute regular workforce reports
- Assist with visa sponsorships tasks when required.
- Keeping up to date with fair work and legislation, providing advice to team members.
To be Successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in Human Resources with an understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and best practices.
- Working knowledge of HR systems (preferably Aurion)
- Excellent administration, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite, with an eye for detail.
- Experience in the disability/care sector is desirable.
