Have you ever driven past the Pink House and wondered what happens inside? No not THAT Pink House, the one at the top end of Dugan St.  The Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre; empowering women, supporting communities.

The Centre provides critical health and wellbeing services to women of the Goldfields and their families. Counselling, sexual assault support services, a women’s GP clinic, carers support programs and peer support groups. 

The families who call us and walk through our doors have diversity in their lived experience, cultural and socio-economic background and family dynamic. 

Our team see these women and their family unit throughout every life stage. At times of immense joy and crushing sadness, which brings us to our amazing team and the qualities and capabilities they posses to be able to deliver these crucial services.

We’re Hiring! Casual Client Services Officer (CSO) - Casual 15 - 20 hours per week

Our CSO’s are our first point of contact with the community members using our services, they make appointments with our in-house allied health specialists, support groups and GP, and direct people through to other health and support services in the region.

The subject matter can be a bit heavy, therefore we look for team members with a bit of life experience and a tonne of empathy.  A little bit of resilience and the interpersonal skills to put someone at ease.

To be successful in this position you will need to:

  • Demonstrate proven experience in a similar role / customer service environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software with exposure to diary / booking programs
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to work across a number of tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail
  • Uphold the Centre values and reputation
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and the ability to achieve organisational and team values, goals and objectives 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Exposure to health promotion activities
  • A desire to be a part of a service that makes a genuine difference to people’s lives
