By combining top-notch medical care with a personalized, warm, and compassionate approach, we keep our patients well-informed and supported throughout their fertility journey.Your Role:As a Scrub/Scout Nurse working in our Jolimont Day Hospital, you will:

• Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs.
• Be proficient in the function of all equipment related to surgery.
• Provide equipment and care in emergency situations.
• Monitor patient safety, including position and protection from electrosurgical and fibreoptic devices.
• Identify risk factors that may require additional instrumentation/equipment.

• Dedicated Experience: Experience in clinical peri-operative nursing.
• Industry Know-How: Qualifications in RN Instrument Circulating
• Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in surgical equipment related to IVF/Fertility
• Patient Focus: A supportive and thoughtful approach to patient care.
• Precision Matters: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

In addition to the above, we also require:

• Bachelor of Nursing Degree
• Practices in accordance with:

• Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses.
• National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and functions according to the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards.
