Your new role as a Perioperative Administration Officer
Being an experienced Health Care Administrator, you will provide high quality administrative skills that ensures the Perioperative Unit works efficiently and effectively. As a successful candidate, you will showcase your excellent customer service with our hospital staff, Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), Practice Managers and Secretaries, to confirm their theatre allocations and accompanying theatre attendees. You will report to both the Administration and the Perioperative Services Managers who will support and train you in your new role.

About You
Being a person that enjoys and thrives in a busy environment, to ensure your success in this role, you will have:
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health care setting
- Exceptional collaborative Interpersonal, leadership and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal customer service
- Experience with computerised reporting systems
- Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Knowledge and understanding of Patient Management Systems including WebPAS
- Commitment to Professional Development and a structured learning program for all staff
Desirable Criteria
- Comprehensive understanding of financial and human resources management principles
