The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive Team to influence organisational strategy, improve procedural service delivery, and accomplish departmental and hospital strategic goals. This year marks a significant capital expansion, including the introduction of a new theatre and a comprehensive overhaul of CSSD, making it a great time to be a part of this new development. Key ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to: Undertake complete management of the unit, being accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources. Engage in planning, implementing, and evaluating all practices, processes, and clinical services within the unit as part of the role's comprehensive scope. Receive support from a passionate team of Nurse Unit Managers while reporting to and benefiting from the mentorship of the Director of Clinical Services. Supporting growth, business development, and responding to business needs identified by the Executive team and Ramsay Health Care. Provide comprehensive oversight of the unit, being responsible for the efficient and effective management of both human and material resources. Engage in the strategic coordination, execution, and assessment of all practices, processes, and clinical services within the unit. About You As a proponent of The Ramsay Way - ‘People Caring for People’, you excel at fostering positive working relations with key stakeholders, developing people, building high-performance teams, and successfully leading them through organisational change. Additionally, you will: Function as a proficient clinical operator with a solid understanding of the private hospital legislative landscape. Possess an understanding of the performance levers driving quality business outcomes and have experience in applying quality improvement processes. Demonstrate a passion for the success and development of people, coupled with expert communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Bring senior management experience in the private health sector, leading organisational change and quality improvement processes. Exhibit knowledge and understanding of clinical governance and patient safety. Demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals, serve as a dedicated mentor, and efficiently manage the resources and requirements of the unit. Essential Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' experience in clinical practice. Formal management qualifications or actively working towards them.
