Form of workChampions IGA are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Perishables team at our Kangaroo Flat Supermarket.
To be considered for this permanent part-time position it is crucial to have a strong customer focus, great work ethic and the desire to work efficiently as part of a cohesive team. The position is offered over 30 hours a week, working a Tuesday to Saturday roster. Availability to work one early start (7.00am) and one late finish (8.00pm) is a minimum rostering requirement.
The successful applicant will also need to display:
- Good communication skills
- Reliability
- Attention to detail
- Good physical fitness – manual handling and some heavy lifting is involved
- Ability to ensure proper conditions and standards are met for all products in the Perishables department
- A passion for customer service
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced team environment
Experience in a similar role and/or a forklift license will be highly regarded, however not essential. Appropriate training can be provided for the right candidate.
