AddressWe currently have an opportunity for a WHS Advisor to join our one of our national, manufacturing clients!
Working between their office in South Perth & factory in North Perth you will be responsible for all aspects of Safety, Quality & Training. You will manage the development, implementation & improvement of the company HSEQ management system whilst supporting WHS projects and initiatives across the organization
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for WHS improvements
- Actively engage and support site with safety processes
- Conduct risk assessments and manage hazard reporting
- Drive and develop WHS procedural compliances
- Manage site assessment, medical & referral processes for injured worker RRTW
- Participate in ISO internal and external audit activities
- Coordinate the identification, traceability and material testing processes
- Coordinate and assist training needs assessments
- Prepare and review training materials
- Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
- White Card
- RRTW accreditation
- Full drivers licence
- Minimum 5 years experience in a OHS & Quality Control role
- Approved internal auditing course - desirable
- Knowledge of hazard identification. risk assessment and control measures
- Knowledge of Australian ISO Standards
- Knowledge of manufacturing or building industry - desirable
