Reporting to the operations Manager we are currently looking for a HSEQ Manager to continue to develop our clients Safety Management system and drive their strong safety performance within their core market Transport & Haulage.
Strong communication skills and leadership qualities are essential and experience within a similar role will see you as the leading candidate. This is a Perth based role that would provide oversight across Albany, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie and multiple sites across the Pilbara, with clients that include major accounts with BHP, Rio Tinto and FMG.
We are open to reviewing candidates at all levels, with 2 years in a Safety role the minimum expectation.

Typical duties will be:
- Drive continuous improvement within an established Safety Management System
- Work closely with the Senior management team to provide effective safety leadership, complying with the HSEQ practices for both the organisation and the major accounts.
- Lead the HSEQ strategy and implement initiatives to effectively address performance trends.
- Undertaking risk assessment, incident investigations, analysis and corrective actions.
- Coach and mentor team members across all safety initiatives and requirements
- Prepare HSEQ reports, procedures, and management plans, and oversee the development of project-specific HSEQ plans.
- Complete Monthly Client meetings delivering compliance and activity reports
Must haves and Qualifications:
- It would be very advantageous if you have worked within the transport industry, however associated industries will be considered
- Minimum Diploma / Cert IV in HSE
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
