Our lawyers deal with a wide range of legal issues using a client-focused approach. We are currently seeking a Personal Assistant to support one of our Senior Associates in our Family Law division within our Hobart Team.
Office hours: 8.45 am - 5.00 p.m.
The Role:
You will be working for a busy, team-focused firm where your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients via phone, email and in-person.
- Diary management and scheduling of appointments.
- Transcription of digital dictations.
- Preparation of correspondence and legal documentation.
- Organising and maintaining electronic and paper files.
- Client invoicing.
- Other support duties as may be required for the firm.
What we expect from you:
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Enthusiastic and positive team-focused attitude.
- Can think on your feet, whilst working in a fast-paced professional office environment.
- Proficient touch typing skills and strong experience with Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
- Ability to build productive working relationships
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and be flexible in the role
- Dairy Management
- Ability to prioritise, triage and manage multiple tasks
Previous legal experience in Family Law will be highly regarded, but we will provide training to the right candidate.
