About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized, dynamic, and proactive Personal Assistant to support the owner of a busy community pharmacy. This role is pivotal in enhancing the owner's effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the owner to others.
Key Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Operations Support:
- Assist the owner in managing pharmacy schedules, including staff shifts and pharmacist availability.
Customer Service Coordination:
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals on behalf of the pharmacy. Setting schedules and appointments with pharmaceutical representatives where necessary.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Support the owner in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
- Manage documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
Marketing and Community Outreach:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
- Coordinate health awareness campaigns and wellness workshops.
Financial and Administrative Tasks:
- Handle financial tasks related to pharmacy operations under the guidance of our accounts team.
- Maintain pharmacy records, including patient files and transaction logs.
Personal Assistant Tasks:
- Manage the owner's emails and schedule to enhance organization and efficiency.
- Assist in project management and strategy development for the pharmacy.
- Guide the management team in the owner's absence.
Event and Meeting Coordination:
- Organize meetings with pharmaceutical representatives and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate health fairs and community health screenings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge or background in healthcare or pharmacy is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in office software and technology.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
Hybrid role. Work from home with the option to be in the office where required.
Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the pharmacy, including extended or irregular hours.
Salary expectations: $40,000 (15 hour work week)
