Sydney Knee Specialists - We're a busy orthopaedic practice specialising in knee surgery with a focus on optimising patient outcomes and clinical research.
About the role
A great opportunity has become available for an experienced person to join our specialist practice. The role is office based, in medical administration and personal assistant work, we are also seeking a candidate with nursing background for treatment of our surgical patients to compliment the role. The position is negotiable for full or part time. You will be required to attend to all aspects of administrative support and customer service to our patients, our research team and our surgeons.
You will be part of a dedicated team of clinicians and administrative staff to provide a high level of patient care and service. You may be required to travel between our practice locations in Sydney.

Skills and experience
The suitable applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience, within a clinical setting. Orthopaedic knowledge and experience with Genie and Socrates software is also highly desirable.
Essential criteria
Demonstrate a commitment to the practice and be accountable for delivering agreed objectives.
Understand and have working knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private health fund billing schedules.
Efficient management of all patient data, appointments, procedures, clinical files, correspondence and accounts
Liaising with other health care professionals and hospital staff
Ability to multitask, work well under pressure in a professional manner, with the initiative to think ahead
Be committed, courteous and demonstrate exceptional communication skills and customer service ethic.
Nursing experience will compliment the role, for treating post-operative surgical patients, if available.
Available to work Monday to Friday.
