My name is Nathan and I am a plastic surgeon based in Brisbane. I am looking for a full-time personal assistant to free up some of my time.
Must have the following qualities:
- Dependable
- Attention to detail
- Keen to learn and can handle receiving regular feedback
- Good communication skills
Other requirements:
- Your own reliable car
- Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Running errands – picking things up, dropping things off etc
- Completing paperwork on my behalf
- Communicating with other members of my staff
- Booking appointments and coordinating my calendar
- Sending and receiving emails on my behalf
- Making online purchases
- Researching topics online
- Reading books which will help you perform your job to a high standard
- Rarely - coordinating zoom webinars, booking travel, driving me places
Further details:
- Experience is preferred but not required
- You will mainly work remotely but will often be required to visit my home in Ascot or private practice in Spring Hill
- You will need to be available during normal business hours from Monday to Friday
- After hours work and working on the weekends will be required in rare circumstances
- You will be on probation for the first three months before transitioning to a full-time permanent position
- You are entitled to four weeks of paid leave per year but you must take these when I do – I usually take 2-3 weeks off over Christmas and another 1-2 weeks off throughout the year
- You will not be required to track your hours but you should expect to work a normal 38 hour week - some weeks will be quieter and some will be busier than this
- There is the potential for career progression if interested as I run a group surgical practice and we are always looking for great people to join our team
