We are seeking a Safety & Compliance Support Manager, responsible for the development, implementation, communication and management of Safety and compliance functions within the Perth Airport. This role is an advocate for the ISS Transport Infrastructure Vision and a key part of ISS achieving industry recognition as being ‘the world’s greatest aviation service provider’.
Salary: $90,000 + Super
The Position:
- Provide expert advice, support and coaching to site and management staff to ensure they understand and manage their health, safety and environment risks, in line with ISS Management System requirements.
- Collaborate with P&C Manager on the development of targeted HSE plans, initiatives, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with Operations Manager on the practical implementation of project specific HSE actions, monitor and review delivery effectiveness
- Focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of initiatives to effectively manage HSE risk
- Drive the implementation of the ISS HSE Management System & deliver services
- Collaborate closely with the client on operational HSE management in the workplace
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high risk safety and compliance environment with a large front line work force.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Health, Safety and Quality or industry experience to similar level.
- Cert IV Workplace Assessment and Training (or similar)
- Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements, OH&S Act 2000, ISO 9001, 4801 & 14001 Standards
- Experience in integrated quality management systems
- ASIC holder or ability to obtain.
- Strong ability to lead and manage change and ability to influence managers and other stakeholders.
- Lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture.
- Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Effective collaborator with excellent communication skills.
