About your new team
The Vector, Urban Pest and Biosecurity business unit is responsible for enhancing the Gold Coast way of life, by providing a wide range of Pest Management programs and services to protect our community and the natural environment.
About your new role
We are seeking a passionate individual for a position involving identification, surveillance, and monitoring of pest insects and plants. Responsibilities include recording and mapping activities using infield computing, offering technical advice to stakeholders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and legislative requirements while fostering positive relationships with various stakeholders.

What you bring to your new role
To be successful in this role:
• You have experience and qualifications in Pest Management and the safe use of pesticides.
• You have proven ability to work productively and collaboratively in a team environment and you demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, written and communication skills.
• You deliver high quality service to customers and understand and react responsively to customer expectations.
• You're able to utilise information, knowledge and experience to implement Pest Management programs and you're capable of planning and organising yourself and others to ensure the fluency and timely completion of tasks.
• You are physically capable of working long hours in an outdoor environment.
• You pride yourself on your commitment to safety.
