Pharmacist

We pride ourselves on our commitment to education, quality care and the well-being of our patients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Pharmacist to join our team. This is a full-time position but part-time applicants will also be considered.

As a Pharmacist at Releaf Dispensary Fortitude, you will play a crucial role in the management and operation of our dispensary. You will be responsible for dispensing medicinal cannabis in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires a compassionate approach to patient care, strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of service and compliance to regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicinal cannabis products accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.  
- Provide expert advice and guidance to patients regarding the use of medicinal cannabis, including dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.  
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory management, ensuring confidentiality and security at all times.  
- Stay informed about the latest developments in medicinal cannabis treatments and share knowledge with the team and patients.  
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.  
- Ensure the dispensary environment is clean, professional and conducive to patient care.

Qualifications:
- Registered with AHPRA as a pharmacist
- Experience in dispensing and patient consultation, with a strong interest in medicinal cannabis.  
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.  
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
