This position will be responsible for providing advanced level leadership, management, training, advice and professional support relating to Correctional Centre Medication Management accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within Townsville Correctional Centre.

The Opportunity
The role will be underpinned by the Reducing Barriers to Health and Wellbeing: The Queensland Prison Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2020-2025 and will support efforts to:
- Coordinate patient-centred care;
- Create partnerships;
- Improve patient outcomes;
- Facilitate systems improvement.
Role requirements
- Mandatory: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Pharmacy. Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia is required.
- Highly Desirable: While not mandatory a post graduate qualification relevant to Pharmacy or enrolment/previous completion of the Residency Program.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Queensland Corrective Services Criminal History Check: Applicants are advised that this position works in a Queensland Corrective Services facility and requires employees and volunteers to have a current Queensland Corrective Services criminal history clearance as per the Corrective Services Act 2006.
Generous remuneration package value up to $167,587 p.a.comprising:
- Salary rates between $5395.60 - $5630.00 p.f. (HP5)
- Annual leave loading + leave
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
