About the Pharmacist Role:

Your Responsibilities:

• Dive into a mix of community-centred and residential aged care pharmacy services
• Showcase confident communication and exceptional relationship-building skills

• Monitor and maintain dispensary and inventory

Qualifications and Skills:

✔ Completed a Bachelor or Master degree of Pharmacy or equivalent 

✔ AHPRA Registration as a Pharmacist 

✔ Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills 

✔ Impeccable attention to detail 

✔ Vaccination qualification (highly desirable) 

✔ Enthusiasm to participate in pharmacy professional programs

About the Dispensary Technician Role:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about community pharmacy and goes the ‘extra mile’ with our customers to understand their needs.

The role requires a pharmacy assistant who is capable of accurate and efficient dispensing in a fast-paced setting, maintaining workflow and has strong attention to detail. 

The role is accountable to pharmacist on duty and collaborates with the entire team to provide exceptional customer service and a comprehensive healthcare solution to patients, including the delivery of pharmacy services to residential aged care facilities.

Your Responsibilities:

• General pharmacy duties such as dispensing and customer service
• Liaising with aged care facilities, nurses and doctors
• Timely script requesting 
• Be available to other team members, where requested, to assist with aged care daily orders or medication changes

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in the role, you require the following skills and experience:

• Exemplary customer service
• Great communication and relationship building skills both with customers and team members
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and speed
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Previous pharmacy experience is preferred
• Dispensing experience and sound knowledge of S2/S3 medication are an advantage, but not essential
• Previous aged care pharmacy services is desirable but not essential
