About You:
This position requires:
- Current Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA (no conditions)
- Experience using FRED Dispensary Software
- Good working knowledge of the PBS system
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to (or willingness to get certification) Administer vaccinations
- Ability to Compound or willingness to get certification in compounding
- Willingness to Dispense Medicinal Cannabis
- You love working in a team and collaborating with others to deliver excellent care
- You are engaged, flexible, and responsive and you like working with others
About the role
The successful applicant will have responsibilities for (but not limited to):
- Dispensing and preparing medication requests
- Educating staff and counselling patients on the best use of medications
- Participating in professional services and health promotion campaigns such as Diabetes MedsChecks and MedsChecks and Vaccination services, compounding, Medicinal Cannabis Dispensing etc
- Supporting and providing direction to Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants as required
- Inventory management and processing of orders.
