The Australasian College of Pharmacy (the College) is a national member-based professional organisation for the pharmacy industry. The College provides clinical, business and leadership training and Professional Development activities, is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in the vocational education sector delivering nationally recognised qualifications and provides CPD accreditation services.
The College is seeking a Professional Development Pharmacist to join our Content Development Team on a full-time basis for a 12 month parental leave contract, commencing in July 2024.
This role presents a great opportunity to be part of an exciting time of change and growth in the organisation and the pharmacy profession.
This position will report directly to the Chief Pharmacist.
What will I be doing?
- Contributing to and supporting the development of clinical and business education content, resources, and tools for pharmacy staff. For example, but not limited to, e-learning modules, webinars, podcasts, workshops, professional networking events, and written content.
- Supporting the maintenance and delivery of College training programs including accreditation training, immunisation training, and other training programs delivered by the College.
- Working with the Chief Pharmacist to ensure content aligns with the College’s strategic goals and education strategy.
- Assisting in the delivery of CPD accreditation services.
- Developing proposals, course outlines and project timelines for commercial, strategic and government-funded projects.
- Assisting in the maintenance of ACP systems including but not limited to the Learning Management System (LMS) and Client Relationship Management System (CRM)
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of the pharmacy industry and Pharmacist Continuing Professional Development framework and responsibilities
- Pharmacy experience with the ability to translate these skills and knowledge into learning and assessment resources.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA.
- Sound project management skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple projects.
- Understanding of online training principles and the development of content
- Strong research, writing, referencing and review skills.
