Philanthropy Executive - Mid Donors

Lead the strategic growth of the mid-level donor portfolio through multi-channel marketing and strong relationship stewardship. Build strong donor journeys for mid-level donors in order to increase the impact for children in developing countries.

Impact you will have in this role

This is an exciting newly-created role to develop and grow the mid-value portfolio by cultivating relationships with new and existing mid-level supporters.

We are searching for a dynamic, curious and passionate relationship manager to lead the development and execution of ChildFund’s mid-level donor strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with donors at varying stages of their donor journey to grow the mid-value portfolio
  • Solicit gifts through various engagement channels, which include telephone communication, direct and digital marketing, and face-to-face meetings
  • Welcome and thank donors, providing strategic engagement throughout the donors’ journeys
  • Utilise data-driven insights to determine priorities and ensure engagement plans are donor-centric
  • Provide clear reporting on portfolio performance and key metrics
  • Work collaboratively to strengthen philanthropic relationships and income
  • Be an active part of a wider fundraising team who are inspired to continuously impact programs that protect, educate, and empower children and young people
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a relationship-focused role, with willingness and confidence to deliver an exceptional service to our supporters
  • Experience in individual giving and appeal-based fundraising
  • Ability to analyse a donor pipeline and make data-driven decisions and recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience in executing fundraising strategies with a critical thought mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of children
