Phone-Based Sales Consultant - Sailing Advisor

About the role:

We are looking for an outgoing Sailing Advisor preferably with some sailing skills who loves talking to people. 4-5 days per week, including one weekend day.

You will need to feel confident calling people who have already made contact with us (warm leads), either jumping on the phone or talking to walk-ins. There is no cold calling! Meet and greet customers who arrive for lessons, book in future lessons and explain the differences between our courses.

We will provide training on our sailing courses & programs so that you can provide suggestions tailored to our student's sailing dreams.

• Outbound calls to warm leads who have contacted our school
• Get to know the customer, and their sailing goals & suggest a program suited to their experience & dreams
• Manage inbound phone traffic
• Full and ongoing sales training
• This is an in-office role

About you:

Minimum three years of sales experience, with a passion for building relationships with customers.  Confident and can work both independently and as part of a team.

• Bright and hardworking and willing to show initiative
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience is highly desired
• Collaborative team player & excellent customer service skills
• Passion for sailing is ideal but not a requirement
• Can-do attitude and great communication skills
• Pays attention to detail
