Neurological Physiotherapy Geelong (NPG) delivers high-quality physiotherapy and exercise physiology services to people living with a neurological condition and people with vertigo, dizziness, concussion or balance disorders. We take pride in our staff having advanced skills and knowledge, and are committed to our values of excellence, collaboration, knowledge, respect and passion. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed junior physiotherapist who shares our values and wishes to pursue a career as a neurological physiotherapist.
At NPG we offer both community and clinic-based services, and are soon to move into our brand-new, purpose-built rehabilitation facility in South Geelong. This gives our clients access to state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, and our staff an amazing home where we can work together as a team. Our clients include those funded privately or by NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe, Home Care Plans, DVA and Medicare (Chronic Disease Management plans).
The successful applicant will have minimum 1-2 years’ clinical experience with a keen interest in neurological physiotherapy. This role will be well supported by our experienced team to suitably upskill the successful candidate. A comprehensive internal professional development and supervision structure exists, alongside a generous professional development allowance and leave for external courses. This supports both our priority of ongoing learning and excellent clinical care, and the applicant's knowledge and skill development in neurological rehabilitation.
A variety of career development opportunities exist to provide a fantastic opportunity for the applicant to become an integral part of a growing, enthusiastic and supportive team. Once neurological knowledge and skills are strong, with further training, there is the option to share a caseload between neurology and vestibular/concussion clients or to upskill in one of our other clinical speciality areas.
Most importantly, at NPG we guarantee a workplace that is nurturing, fun and creative. We love to share ideas, learn from one another, have a laugh and enjoy the amazing carer of neurological physiotherapy. Come be a part of our brilliant team!
