About the Role
The Physiotherapy Department, QEII Jubilee Hospital includes approximately 32 FTE physiotherapists and 4 FTE physiotherapy assistants. It is part of a multi-professional service providing care to inpatients of the Hospital and outpatients. Inpatient services are provided in the Geriatric Adult Rehabilitation Service (GARS), Orthopaedic, Acute and Emergency Department settings.
Successful candidates will:
- Demonstrate collaborative clinical leadership and expertise obtained through significant professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications and actively pursues development and learning opportunities, including contribution to training of physiotherapy and other health professionals.
- Deliver advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy services within the MMC in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
- Provide professional leadership and responsibility for development of musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinical practices, procedures and protocols
