Physiotherapist – Grade 1 or 2
Physiotherapy Team

Multiple Permanent Positions available - Full Time or Part Time

No two days are the same as a Physiotherapist, which can be incredibly challenging and rewarding. At West Gippsland Healthcare Group, we have a team of dynamic and supportive Grade 1, 2 and 3 Physiotherapists to assist you with career development, help you through the challenges and most importantly, to provide high quality care to our community.

Demonstrate your expertise in assessing, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic health conditions in the areas of musculoskeletal, neurological and cardio-respiratory disorders.  Hours are available to a broad variety of areas including acute, subacute, community rehab, outpatients and aged care across a 7 day a week service.   

The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a high level of organisational and decision-making skills. In addition, the preferred candidate will have:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • The ability to apply a high level of clinical knowledge and skills in physiotherapy practice. 
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • The ability to provide support and supervision to junior staff, assistants and students.
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.

IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully (3 doses) vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.

All appointments with the West Gippsland Healthcare Group are subject to the satisfactory return of professional reference checks, a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (whichever is applicable for this role) and a current Employee Working with Children Check. All employees must hold current entitlement to work within Australia. A six month probationary period applies to all new appointments.
