This role will be well supported by the Grade 3 Inpatient Orthopaedic Physiotherapists at Moorabbin and Dandenong and will see you work collaboratively with a fantastic group of people who are inclusive, passionate and share a vision to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.
A Day in the Life
Working either part time or casual, these newly created positions will be part of our seven-day service provided to Orthopaedic inpatients. Successful staff will work across both Moorabbin and Dandenong Hospitals. The caseload will be acute orthopaedic trauma patients and/or acute elective orthopaedic surgery patients. Provision of service to other patient groups within the hospital may be required.
What you bring:
Recent clinical experience with orthopaedic/musculoskeletal patients
Passion for implementation of evidence based practice
Advanced clinical reasoning skills with experience in providing clinical education
The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Ambition to grow your clinical skills and expand your knowledge
A proactive approach and team player attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What you need:
A relevant physiotherapy qualification
Current unconditional AHPRA registration
Significant orthopaedic/musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinical experience
Experience in the management of surgical and critical care patients
Leadership &/or service development experience
