Physiotherapist Grade 3 - Icu

Permanent Full time 80 hours per fortnight with ADO
Commencement negotiable from January 2024
An exciting opportunity has opened at Grampians Health Ballarat for an experienced ICU clinician to join our Acute Inpatient Team.
This role will provide clinical leadership of our expanding ICU, with plans to increase beds to Level 3 capacity over the next 3 years. You will be a member of a dynamic ICU team which supports and values the role of physiotherapy in early mobilisation, tracheostomy management, ventilation weaning and acute rehabilitation.
The role also includes clinical and leadership oversight to our acute inpatient services, supervision and coordination of professional development to facilitate contemporary clinical excellence across our acute service.
As the successful applicant you will;

• Demonstrate expert level of knowledge and skills within ICU and Acute services.
• Demonstrate Leadership qualities to continue the development of our Acute Inpatient Physiotherapy service
• Lead, by example, a culture of recognition and success through the active modelling of the Grampians Health Services values: Collaboration, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Innovation.
• Lead relevant service development activities, including evaluation, monitoring, clinical governance and quality improvement.
• Effectively communicate with colleagues across the multi-disciplinary team, all levels of management across the health service and the public health system.
