Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.The Physiotherapist Level 3 provides Senior clinical leadership within Physiotherapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.
Level 3 Senior Clinicians have a recognised clinical specialty within their discipline and work in areas that require high levels of clinical expertise and knowledge in that specialty. They demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision.
Level 3 Rheumatology senior works closely with the MSK outpatient team, Rheumatology & LBP MDT clinics. Develop treatment plans that includes latest EBP for individuals and groups and includes hydrotherapy. Assessment and treatment of RPA inpatients admitted under rheumatology speciality.

About working for SLHD
This is a Category A position. To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2023_022).
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. A NSW Health agency may require further information about the medical contraindication (including but not limited to an Immunisation Medical Exemption form – IM011 form).
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
