Our client, an Indigenous-owned Information Technology Services company located in Western Australia, is currently seeking a Leading Hand Pit and Pipe Worker to join their team in Perth.
As a Leading Hand Pit and Pipe Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of pit and pipe infrastructure. You'll work closely with our team to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Skills/Experience
- Supervising and guiding pit and pipe crew members to achieve project goals.
- Coordinating the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel
- Conducting on-site inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
- Maintaining accurate records of work activities and project progress
- Prior experience in installing NBN conduits and pits is preferred.
- Familiarity with traffic signal pit and pipe work, trenching, and streetlight/traffic signal footings is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to electrical conduit installation and cable hauling is desirable.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction plans.
- Quick-thinking abilities are essential.
- Capable of providing clear instructions to your team.
- Demonstrated expertise in pit and pipe installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong leadership and communication proficiencies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Possession of relevant certifications and licenses such as White Card, Confined space, etc ….
- Valid driver's license required.
