As our Senior Pizzaiolo Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious and visually appealing pizzas that will delight our guests, your expertise in dough preparation, sauce creation, and pizza assembly will help us maintain our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and hand-stretch dough to create the perfect pizza base, ensuring consistency in size and thickness.
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas in different styles, such as Neapolitan, Sicilian, and New York-style, using traditional techniques and modern equipment.
- Monitor and adjust oven temperatures to ensure pizzas are best every time.
- Drive the kitchen pizza section to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Be creative & develop new pizza recipes and menu items, keeping up to date with industry trends and customer preferences.
- Stay knowledgeable about ingredient quality, freshness, and seasonality, ensuring the use of the highest quality ingredients.
- Uphold proper portion control and minimise waste through proper production planning and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and always maintain proper hygiene practices.
Required skills and experiences:
- Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo Chef, with a deep understanding of pizza-making techniques and the ability to consistently create high-quality pizzas.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, sauce making, and pizza assembly, including the ability to hand-stretch dough and create visually appealing pizza presentations.
- Proficiency in working with a variety of pizza ovens and equipment, ensuring optimal baking conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure each pizza is accurately prepared according to Little CreatCreatures' specification
- Ability to manage and collaborate with the kitchen crew and to communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operation.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new flavours and ingredients to develop unique and delicious pizza creations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects, such as pizza trays or bags of ingredients.
