AddressTalent International is currently recruiting for an Place Managerto work for an NSW Government client based in Waterloo. This is contract role 12-months contract with the view to be extended. The role is paying $76.50 per hour + Super.
- Hours- 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week
- Location: Minimum 2 days in office. There is a parking lot on the corner of Wellington and George. Occasional visits to 4PSQ will be required (eg once a month for team meeting). Currently Tuesday and Thursday in office however subject to change.
Description:
This position will build and foster stakeholder relationships in a complex project environment and help create spaces on the Waterloo Estate where people feel connected, included and valued.
This person will enhance collaboration and coordination of activity in the area by working in partnership with tenants, service providers, NGOs, and government agencies to support the delivery of the Waterloo Renewal Project and its objectives.
In addition to facilitating and participating in community activities, they will also support the implementation of the Waterloo South People and Place Plan and contribute to the ongoing work and objectives of the Waterloo Human Services Group.
This position will report to the Community Engagement Manager within the Partnerships and Communications team.
Required Skills:
- Strong stakeholder relationship building and management skills
- Ability to work in a complex project environment
- Experience in fostering a sense of community and inclusion
- Collaboration and coordination skills, especially in partnership with various stakeholders such as tenants, service providers, NGOs, and government agencies
- Familiarity with community engagement activities and strategies
- Ability to support the implementation of community development plans
- Effective communication skills to facilitate community activities and engage with stakeholders
- Understanding of social services and community development principles
- Reporting skills and experience in contributing to team objectives
