About the Role:
We currently have the opportunity for a Plan Manager who will feel confident to work within a high-level team. Reporting to the Support Coordination/Plan Management Manager, the purpose of this position is to provide support to the REDinc Plan Management team. This position will work with the finance department and with NDIS participants to manage their budgets and plan.
The position is part-time or full-time (4 – 5 days per week negotiable), and will be based in Lismore.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Plan Management – liaise with participants, families and other relevant stakeholders to develop service agreements and monitor plan outcomes and expenditure to ensure plans remain in budget.
• Enquiries and Referrals – accept, respond to and register enquiries for the Plan Management team.
• Reporting – report on participant outcomes to the NDIA, as requested by the agency.
• Legislative Requirements - adhere to all relevant legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
• Record Keeping – ensure clear, accurate and timely records are kept.
• Ethical and Professional Work Practices – work ethically and confidentially to maintain the dignity of participants and the privacy of their information.
• Team Work – Build a positive team environment through the demonstration of good communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Criteria:
• A positive attitude towards people with disabilities.
• Understanding of the NDIS and its impact on the lives of people with a disability.
• Ability to assess and respond to individual needs.
• Ability to respond and manage crisis situations.
• Superior organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and to build trust.
• Great inter-personal skills, emotional intelligence and the ability to reflect on one's self.
• Be a team player and self-motivator.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office.
• A current NSW Drivers license.
• Mandatory COVID Infection Control Training
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Desirable Criteria:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Book keeping and/or Community Services.
• Previous experience in the implementation, monitoring and review of Individuals NDIS Plans.
• A thorough knowledge of the NDIS and the price guide.
• Knowledge of and ability to effectively use PRODA and MYGOV.
• Previous experience in administrative procedures, including cash management.
• Demonstrated experience or training in financial acquittal/reporting would be advantageous.
