About MECoE

About the Role

As a Planner Asset Management, you will focus on developing, maintaining, and communicating work plans for assigned Equipment Type / Area of Responsibility in accordance with the 1SAP Work Management Processes and the Total Equipment Strategy. This role works closely with the Maintenance Execution and Reliability teams to ensure the area equipment is maintained safely and reliably as well as delivering continuous improvement to work plans.

Your focus will be on planning of weekly maintenance activities, including Shutdowns and Outages to minimise downtime, waste and cost, and maximise resource utilisation.

Reporting to Superintendent Planning & Asset Health, your accountability include:

  • Defines shutdown/outage objectives, scope, mobiles shutdown resources.
  • Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs. 
  • Plans work in accordance with the 1SAP Work Management process, accurately identifying the required components and resources prior to scheduling.
  • Arranges specialist or external resources (where required) to support the completion of complex work.
  • Monitors the Parts Availability Tracker (PAT) and liaises closely with Supply to ensure parts and rotatable materials are delivered on time.
  • Provides input into the Outage Plan in conjunction with Production planning.
  • Improves SAP Master Data to embed Standard Work Packages into Task Lists.
  • Provides technical and system support to develop the broader team.
  • Supports the automation of planning processes by proactively turning tacit knowledge into system-embedded information.
  • Identifies opportunities for standardisation across sites.
  • Verifies and optimises strategies using Asset Health Evaluator inputs and liaises with the strategy owner to recommend a course of action.
  • Monitors asset health inputs to identify maintenance requirements not yet in 1SAP or opportunities to align bodies of work that were necessary for an asset, or asset class.
  • Reviews PM03’s to determine plans that need to be restarted and liaises with Strategy Optimisation or Site Reliability Engineers to ensure this is actioned.

About You

As a successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Experience in Asset Management, maintenance execution, maintenance planning & reliability or production processes, with strong technical aptitude and maintenance process expertise.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in maintenance planning or maintenance within the resourcing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance equipment or technical understanding of conditions Monitoring and Asset Health Principles.
  • Good knowledge of planning & scheduling and the Work Management process.
  • Good knowledge of Cost Management and Forecasting processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Knowledge of SAP (or an equivalent ERP system) is required.
  • Experience in mining or Fixed Plant (desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Good problem solving skills, to support sustainable problem resolution.
  • Ability to work autonomously and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • While it is not mandatory, a Trade qualification or Engineering degree will be deemed advantageous.

Location and Roster

This role will be Brisbane office base with some site travel as require. You will be working Monday-Friday roster.
