Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, you the Planner will play a crucial role in supporting work management by utilising technical expertise in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring work across the site.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Detailed planning of maintenance work orders supporting safe and efficient maintenance work execution
- Planning and scheduling work to high-quality standards, in alignment with budget forecasts and approvals.
- Evaluating work scopes and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness. Enhance and optimise SAP Master Data
- Monitoring compliance with works management procedures.
- Managing risks and making decisions within delegated authority, escalating risks when necessary.
- Review, plan and assign work within schedule periods, taking into consideration statutory work, asset criticality, severity and safety impacts, including maintenance projects
- Organising and managing contractors on-site as required.
- Collaborating with wider planners/schedulers to ensure consistent application of best practices and continuous improvement.
- PM analysis and changes as required.
- Bills of Materials (BOM) creation and changes as required.
- Task List development.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at Kogan Creek Power Station.
Essential:
- Trade certificate in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
- Experience working within coal fired power stations or other fixed plant processing experience.
- Experience with the use of Prometheus or demonstrated ability to learn Prometheus or other SAP-based scheduling tools.
- Experience with the use of CMMS. Experience with SAP maintenance module GUI would be advantageous.
- Proven track record of providing safe and effective planning and scheduling within a team environment.
- Display excellent communication abilities, highlighting key skills for effective team work and stakeholder engagement
- Foster a highly organised, structured and detailed approach to planning and scheduling with a demonstrated strong commitment to safety
- Ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders.
Desirable:
- 5 years' relevant post-trade experience.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and TRIM or other document management systems.
- Good understanding of various functions within a power station including experience in asset maintenance and process plant power generation.
