Permanent Full Time - 36.25 hours per week 

$80,253.63 to $85,988.39 Annually  + up to 12% super  

RCC Officers' Level 4

We have an exciting opportunity within our City Planning & Assessment Team for a Planning Liaison Officer to join us. Do you have passion and experience in Town Planning? Do you value the customer, industry and community connections? If this sounds like you apply now!

  • Use your superior customer service skills to respond to telephone, counter and written enquiries from internal and external customers on planning and development matters.
  • Have the ability to research the planning scheme and other planning instruments and policies in order to provide quality planning advice.
  • Support in coordinating and assessing assigned development applications.

  • Has demonstrated ability in the provision of excellent customer service when dealing with planning enquiries.
  • Will bring entry level (or above) knowledge in current and emerging town planning and land use matters.

  • Is able to bring excellent attention to detail with sound problem solving and proven time management skills.

Eligibility

  • You'll hold a current Open Class 'C' drivers' licence (Queensland) or equivalent.
  • Successful applicants will be asked to consent to a police check. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits.
