Hays has partnered with a local, community-driven civil construction and earthmoving company with operations based in Toowoomba QLD. Year-on-year growth and a commitment to quality work has seen our client be awarded their next big project, creating several exciting opportunities for them to expand their team.
Your new role
Work commencing in Jandowae - approx 50km north of Dalby, our client is looking to employ a range of skilled, ticketed civil Plant Operators including:
- Excavator Operators (GPS, up to 38T)
- Grader Operators
- Loader Operators
- Roller Operators
The project will be ongoing for approximately 6-8months, with new projects being awarded regularly.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidates will have previous civil site experience as well as their Construction White Card. Current tickets are required for each machine you are qualified to operate, and we are looking for practical competency on those machines. You will have the ability to be able to work a 5/2 roster and a strong can-do attitude. Our client is looking for operators who work well as part of a team and are willing to help in whatever way they can to move a project forward.
What you'll get in return
Our client is offering a very competitive hourly rate for operators starting from $38p/hr with appropriate increases based on skills, experience and machines to be operated. A working-away-from-home allowance is paid daily, as well as allowances for meals - with all travel & accomodation paid for. If direct permanent is not suitable to your situation, our client is very open to exploring all options including contractual arrangements for the length of the project or temporary assignments.
