Plant Operator Backhoe
An opportunity has become available for a skilled Plant Operator – Backhoe to join our Civil Operations team based at Paget Depot. This position contributes to the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage assets, and other civil infrastructure in the beautiful region of Mackay.

The position:
As a Plant Operator - Backhoe, you will be responsible for labouring and plant/truck operation duties associated with maintenance and construction of roads and drainage assets including earthworks, concrete, pipelaying, bitumen and vegetation work.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Current General Construction Safety "White" Card.
- QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
- Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck ‘HR’ Class Licence (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
- Extensive experience in operating road construction plant, in particular Backhoe
- Experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
