SalaryGlenelg Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Works Unit Team as a Plant Operator. This full-time position is based primarily out of Councils Casterton Depot, with tasks primarily undertaken in road construction and maintenance, however, may vary with other works services where required. Duties of the Plant Operator position typically include labouring and the operation of Plant items.
We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude and works well within a team environment with an attention to detail. Previous trade qualification or labouring experience would be of advantage.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your experience working outdoors with the use of a variety of plant and machinery, proven experience in labouring works and the willingness to learn new skills.
