AddressWe are seeking several skilled and experienced Plant Operators to join our client's team at their Refuse Disposal Facility in Melbourne's West. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles and earth-moving equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient disposal of waste materials.
Your daily responsibilities will be as follows:
* Operate light and heavy trucks to transport waste materials to the disposal site.
* Drive and maneuver earth-moving equipment, including front-end loaders, traxcavators, trucks, and compactors.
* Maintain and inspect vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
* Perform other related duties as required by the facility.
To secure one of these highly sort after positions, you will require the following:
* Heavy Rigid (Victorian) Licence.
* Level 2 First Aid certification (desirable but not essential)
* Licence to operate and demonstrated competency in using earth-moving equipment such as front-end loaders, traxcavators, trucks, and compactors.
* Completion or willingness to complete the Landfill Operations Course.
* Strong commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
