About the role City of Parramatta are currently seeking skilled and experienced garbage compactor operators to join our growing Waste & Cleansing team, to ensure that Parramatta’s Public Domain is maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of our great city! We have 1 permanent full-time opportunity available working on our early morning shift Monday-Friday 3am- 11:30am. Duties will include: Undertaking a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services Team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team. Operate a variety of plant including garbage compactors. Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs. About You …
