About the position
The Plant Operator (Grader) position will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment within the Toowoomba Region. This position works as part of a multi-skilled team to complete program objectives for the maintenance and construction of Council’s infrastructure networks.
- The base wage rate for this position is $1,166.86 gross per week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- This is a permanent full time position based out of our Goombungee Depot.
- Work a 9 day fortnight with a Rostered Day Off.

The Construction & Maintenance North (CMN) Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects and across a predominantly rural road and stormwater infrastructure network.
