Address We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Plant Operator/Labourer in our Grassdale facility. This role primarily involves working in a production environment, operating machinery and equipment, and assisting with general labor duties as necessary. Candidates with previous experience in production, operator, or plant operator backgrounds are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment within the production plant, including but not limited to, conveyors, crushers, screens, and loaders.
- Monitor and control the production process to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Assist with general labor duties, such as loading and unloading materials, stacking and organizing inventory, and cleaning work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment desired.
- Knowledge and understanding of operating machinery and equipment, preferably in a plant or industrial setting.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
