Dr Chris Moss, who specialises in surgery of the face and nose, is looking for a Patient Coordinator to join the existing nursing team to coordinate and organise surgical patients and ensure the smooth running of their patient journey. We are looking for an experienced Nurse who is passionate about patient care and is committed to delivering exceptional service with a positive, can-do work ethic. This is a full time position.
As a member of our dedicated and dynamic in-rooms team at one of the most unique and progressive facilities of its kind, you will be a key part in educating and supporting patients throughout their surgical journey - both pre- and post- operatively. Our patients have access to world’s best practice treatments in both surgical and non-surgical options.

About Dr Chris Moss

Dr Moss has his private purpose built rooms in Toorak which are complemented by the adjacent Liberty Belle Skin Centre, which provides a comprehensive range of non-surgical, modern aesthetic treatments and technologies.
The Position
- Full-time position.
Duties
You will be required to:
- Perform the process of booking and scheduling of patients for surgery
- Guide and care for patients through the surgical education and organisation process
- Ensure pre-surgical work-up and paperwork is completed
- Coordinate and organise rostering of theatre staff
- Provide comprehensive pre-and post-operative education and support for surgical & non-surgical patients
- Assist other nurses with post-operative care and review of patients
- Liaise with surgical patients to educate and manage them through the surgical process to help ensure their journey is a positive experience
- Assist with administration and phone enquiries as required.

Successful Applicant
The successful applicant needs:
- AHPRA Nurse qualification (RN preferred) with several years experience
- A friendly, confident and caring personality
- Strong commitment to achieving excellence in all aspects of patient care
- Professional presentation
- Excellent telephone manner
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Attention to detail and to take pride in their work
- To be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
- Ideally has experience with hospitals and surgical bookings
- Knowledge of Plastic Surgery and/or non-surgical cosmetic treatment is an advantage.
Salary will be negotiated depending on your experience, with entitlement to non-surgical aesthetic treatments and skincare products
