Plastics & Reconstructive Surgeon - Staff Specialist & Visiting Medial Officer – Wollongong Hospital - ISLHDYou will provide clinical management and treatment of patients in Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.This role will be primarily based at The Wollongong Hospital (TWH) but may be required to provide services to Shellharbour Hospital (SHH) and Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital (SDMH).You will proactively:

• Support the development of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery services

• Support and facilitate a culture of learning and best practice

• Support and develop Plastic and Reconstructive surgery research within the department

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) has responsibility for health services in the Illawarra Shoalhaven region – a catchment area extending along the coastline from Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south with over 400,000 residents. This catchment covers four Local Government Areas (LGAs): Wollongong, Kiama, Shellharbour and Shoalhaven. ISLHD operates eight hospital sites in Coledale, Bulli, Wollongong, Port Kembla, Shellharbour, Berry, Shoalhaven and Milton Ulladulla, and community health services operating from approximately 58 locations across the region. , , andSelection Criteria: * Specialist registration or eligible for specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health services colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and staff and to work as an effective member of the clinical team across multiple sites.
